Well, the bailout failed. Did you really expect it to work? Why would you? Even the politicians that voted for it said it wasn’t the best thing. So they’d rather act quickly, and wrongly, costing us, the taxpayers 700 billion with a pork laden bailout strategy that was doomed to failure to begin with. The way congress and the president are handling the current economic problems and the presidents, feds, and treasuries solution is not designed to stop a depression.
